Ghost City is an album that plays out more like a post-apocalyptic movie. Think Talib Kweli meets Terminator Salvation. Here, Keith plays a rebel survivor of a war stemming from the devastating 9/11 attacks of 2001. Keith is no stranger to innovation thru music, blasting out of the Chicago scene with his self created hybrid style which blends elements of hip-hop, electro, pop, glitch, dub and disco. While earning a college degree in New York, Keith broke out onto the hip-hop scene through word of his electric performances and recordings with established names in the industry. From the east coast, Keith returned to his native city and continued to record his EP and spread the Electromajic movement.


Using Keith’s signature wordplay against electronic beats, Ghost City explores the moral complications of war, the frustrations of technology, international relations, religion and the struggles of everyday life while one underlying theme binds them together: Music will be what saves us all. In the near future, America has become a hallowed, fractured country. The once stronghold of a nation is divided. In response to the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001, some believe the President acted selfishly, withholding secrets from the American public. Others support the President - whole-heartedly. This rift between the two factions eventually cause a civil war; resulting in the disbanding of unity amongst the states. In the age of Ghost City, only independent provinces remain.
